Priding itself on its impressive arcane library, spacious and well-fortified covenant buildings, superb resources and talented and loyal magi, Flamma Aeterna has grown to be the power in the Tribunal and seeks to bring order to the wilds of Britain through example and through strict use of the Code and cooperation with like-minded Quaesitors. Home now to eleven magi, it is currently seeking an infusion of new blood to help it grow and strengthen.
Recent events, though, have changed the outlook of the covenant. An attack on the arcane library in 909, of non-hermetic origin, almost destroyed the library, and only a period of intense work prevented this catastrophe. In 915, the covenant was again attacked, this time apparently by the twilight spirits of the magi of Silverdown, casting Aequus into twilight. These two events, together with the apparent antipathy towards Flamma Aeterna from the other covenants of the tribunal (despite generous access to the library) have meant that the covenant has become dangerously paranoid and introspective. The next few years, and the tribunal of 921 will determine whether Flamma Aeterna retains a positive interest in the tribunal, or internalises further.
